To finish off our weekly story of Aero and Officer Mike today we had a guest visitors, Officer Bargerstock and K-9 dog Scout. The students got to see Scout work and respond to a few commands. Officer Bargerstock was able to teach us all about Scout and his duties. The kids even go to pet him.

Chapter 6 is over Multiplication and Division Patterns. We will practice multiplying and dividing by 2s, 5s, and 10s. It is very important that students practice their multiplication facts at home. We have started our boot camp and an information letter went home on Tuesday. I am very excited to see their growth. Coming from 4th grade I know how important these skill are. Ideas to study are to make flash cards, skip count, roll dice and multiple, use a deck of cards and multiply, and there are a lot of videos and games to watch. To finish off our weekly story of Aero and Officer Mike today we had a guest visitors, Officer Bargerstock and K-9 dog Scout. The students got to see Scout work and respond to a few commands. Officer Bargerstock was able to teach us all about Scout and his duties. The kids even go to pet him.

We are leaning about Economics. The students are going to participate in a Future Simulation where they get to pick a career and house and then they have to balance a budget based off their choices. I think this is going to be very interesting and a great learning experience.

Chapter 6 is over Multiplication and Division Patterns. We will practice multiplying and dividing by 2s, 5s, and 10s. It is very important that students practice their multiplication facts at home. We have started our boot camp and an information letter went home on Tuesday. I am very excited to see their growth. Coming from 4th grade I know how important these skill are. Ideas to study are to make flash cards, skip count, roll dice and multiple, use a deck of cards and multiply, and there are a lot of videos and games to watch.
